Devlog 2: A Playtest is out!
Hello! Pretty self-explanatory. Got a very crappy playtest out! Try it out and see how it goes. Would love any feedback! The level shows the three simple gameplay aspects I planned for this game: Regular platforming, Running away from the monster, and puzzle solving with the drone. There is lots of visual glitches and collisions glitches that for the love of me I can't fix. But i'll get there eventually. Would love to hear opinions on the game design as well as comments on the glitches.
I have lots of things planned for the future. I am working on the design for the monster currently and will be working on background and foreground textures. And, of course, I'll be fixing the glitches. It was this week that I realised just how unorganized my code is, so if I get a chance I will rewrite a lot of it and make it a lot more efficient.
My uni is starting next week so not sure when my next update will be, but I will deffo be working on the game!
P.S. I forgot to upload a video of the gameplay don't hate.
